We've come a long way at bathtime, from this first
bath, to now the best way to end a long day! I look forward to this time of day each day because I know she loves it so much. I like to call it 'Spa Mackenzie' time! It doesn't matter what mood she is in before
hand, we come upstairs, and first get her undressed and even that
thrills her! She LOVES dancing around with no clothes on!!! I guess she feels free??? Clothes must inhibit her movement!!! Then, we move into the bathroom and she just relaxes in the warm water. After I wash her, I then fill up a big cup over and over and pour it on her to rinse her off. I do this for quite
a while, particularly when she's had a hard night. Sometimes, it relaxes her to the point where she starts nodding off in the tub! I know then it's going to be lights out very easily that night :) She then gets bundled up in her towel and we proceed to get ready for bed. Needless to say, she does not appreciate being reclothed after the bathing experience. Too bad
it's winter and she gets really bundled back up! I tell you though, I often think as I'm bathing her that it is quite the life.....her own little spa treatment at the end of a long day!!!!
