Girl's Best Friend

Mackenzie has really started to notice the dogs (it's always funny to me how babies randomly just hit a stage & notice something that has been there all along!). She'll reach out and pet them from time to time (okay it's sort of a hit & grab fur situation, but still!). Luckily for us, Skylar doesn't seem to mind & neither does Scooter. In fact Skylar seems to like the new person these days (okay I think she likes the fact that she can lick spit up off her clothes! I know, gross, but it's a dog!). So, Skylar stays close by Mackenzie these days! Scooter doesn't mind her, but he'd just rather be chewing on a toy than hanging out with a baby! I guess the spit up is less of an enticement for him.... Here's some photos of Skylar & Mackenzie "playing" last night.
