First Bath

It took us awhile to get to the first bath, somehow there never seemed to be time for bathing that first week with the feedings every 2.5 to 3 hours (and we were struggling with breastfeeding, so the feeding sessions were marathon length!). We'd barely finish one before having to move on to the next. Finally by the end of the week, we were getting better at the feedings and having a little more time between each feeding that finally allowed us the time to wash her!

Of course, as with most babies (I imagine), she was not a big fan of the bathing experience. We washed her as quickly as we could with my mom snapping pictures and videos as we quickly tried to get her bathed, rinsed, & dried. She quieted back down quickly after being dried off, and we were glad that she didn't choose to relieve herself during the process!
