Sweet Drowsy Baby

At Mackenzie's doctor visit yesterday, the doctor told me the possible side effects of the shots were that she'd be drowsy (& possibly run a fever). I thought, sleepy baby....okay with me ;) And sleepy she was! And I felt a little guilty for enjoying her misfortune, but she let me hold her soooo much yesterday - easily falling asleep in my arms. Even while I was seated! I ate that up! Loved it. Normally, my baby gets a little bored sitting still. If I want her to fall asleep in my arms, it requires a lot of walking around & bouncing up & down.....and alot of pushing the paci in her mouth! She normally fights falling asleep. I guess she thinks she going to miss something while she's asleep? But not yesterday, she easily closed her eyes in my arms while I sat down. What a day! (Oh and she never ran a fever either - yay!)

Update on the head problem....when I laid her down last night she was already asleep (I know, some people will tell me I need to lay her down awake.....I do that sometimes don't worry). Her head naturally went to the right, but I moved it back to the left. This morning she was still looking to the left. Whoo hoo! Maybe she won't be lopsided after all :) Here's a picture of our little "peaknuckle" sleeping in her swaddle this morning with her head to the LEFT!!

Good job on the shots Mackenzie!! Michael had a really hard time with his 2 month shots ... he would sleep and then wake up screaming bloody murder for like 15 minutes, then fall back asleep. It was not a relaxing day!!! But he was fine after that with shots :-)
