Aunt Natalie & Granmommy have certainly been enjoying holding & helping out with little Mackenz. With extra hands, Brannon & I managed to escape last night for a couple hours to see a movie & eat dinner out. It was really nice to get out of the house w/0 the little one and have a 'date' :) Then, this morning when we were trying to pack up and get to church, Mackenzie was just NOT in the
mood to get ready and was quite fussy. So, Natalie volunteered to stay home with her while we went to church. Otherwise, I'm not sure we would have made it & we've only made it once so far since we've had her, not a good record so far! They've been enjoying holding her whenever she cries and
giving her a few of her supplemental bottles. What a great break for this new mommy & what fun for them!!

Sounds like you're having fun. Definitely take advantages of free babysitting when you can get it. I think Maya was around Mackenzie's age when we finally got it together enough to get to church too. It's good that you guys got to go even though she wasn't up to it.
Church is hard - it always seems to be right when they want to nurse or nap or throw a fit.

I meant to tell you - your comment about Vince Vaughn & the baby carrier? I told my husband and his response involved the word "emasculated." So, you can tell Brannon that he is far more secure in his manhood than my husband is...
