Nightmares?

Last night, Mackenzie woke up very upset right around the time I was going to bed and was difficult to console. And she did NOT want to go back into her crib. She eventually calmed down & nothing physical seemed to be wrong (fever, diaper, etc). But when I sat her on the counter next to me (to brush my teeth!) she got hysterical again. She did NOT want to be more then 1mm away from me! Same thing when I put her down to get into my pajamas. (Note: I'd already decided I was tired and she was sleeping with us since calming down was NOT happening!). And in my bed, when usually she is happy as a lark for winning the opportunity to sleep with us, she was still upset. I had to sing to her repeatedly and she was clinging onto me, arms all around me, not wanting to have any space between us. I think maybe she had a nightmare? That's the best Brannon & I could figure out. She did go to sleep, and a few hours later (when we couldn't sleep due to her tossing & turning!) we put her back in her crib. No issues after that, and none so far for today's nap time. Hoping the nightmares are few & far between!
