On Saturday night of the McKay Open weekend, there is a banquet to hand out all the awards to the winners, losers, & other random achievements from the day of golfing. Unfortunately, this year, not one of our immediate McKays (daddy, Uncle Jake, or Poppee) were on the winning team. But fortunately, none were on the losing team either! Uncle Jake did manage to win the shot of the day award (which was deemed possibly the best shot ever at a McKay Open) for his shot from 150 yards out that went into the hole! And Mackenzie got the opportunity to sport another patriotic outfit!Mackenzie got a little tired of sitting still through dinner & the awards, so cousin Claire took over and walked her around and gave her an "Over the Hill" balloon from another party! Then, Meemi took Mackenzie into the bar area where they had a live band playing. She was thoroughly interested in watching the "it-tars" (guitars) being played. Um....much like her daddy??? So, she enjoyed herself!
