Beach Bound

Mackenzie & I left in the middle of last week to head down to the beach with Meemi in preparation of the annual "McKay Open" weekend. I was happy that Meemi captured this picture before we left of her sporting some pigtails. I'm trying to do them more often - I think it is just TOO cute :) Upon arriving at the beach, we hung out, just us girls that night, & then went for a little time at the beach the next day before Poppee/Popeye arrived (Mackenzie seems to be transitioning his name back to Poppee......thought Poppee still wants to be Popeye!). She is turning into quite the beach girl. Still doesn't love going deep into the water, but loves getting the waves to come up to her knees/waist - doesn't even want to hold our hands for that anymore which is a serious change from the first visit! She also just loves running around, playing in the sand, and general play on the beach :)
