Yesterday, Mackenzie, Natalie & I headed out to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens for a little fun in the sun! The weather here was just amazing this weekend (so wierd to think it snowed last weekend & almost 80 degrees today!). I was glad to get out of the house & finally get to see this Atlanta attraction that in almost 12 years, somehow I'd never been to..... I've heard it's fun for kids & thought Mackenzie might like looking at all the plants & flowers. Not sure she really noticed it too much, but she did have a good time - only crying after we'd been there for about 2 hours when she was ready for her bottle. She spent most of the time playing with (okay chewing) her toys instead of looking at the flowers but she did enjoy the fountains and sitting on Aunt Natalie's shoulders! And it was a good excuse to finally get to wear her first cute little summer hat! All in all, a good way to spend a Saturday :) We were all exhausted when we got home that we all took a 2 hour nap! Even Mackenzie did - which I was amazed because she got a late start on the afternoon nap.....it was almost 4 o'clock when she went down, but slept til 6pm! (And miraculously still went down around 9:30 for bed......Love it!).
