So, to be honest, I have been feeling guilty lately about not getting one year photos of Mackenzie yet. And she's now 14 months. I think this always happens to mommies, but being an aspiring photographer, I really get sad if I don't properly document her life through photos. But ever since she's started walking, it's just so hard. And she always just wants to play with my camera instead of posing. Or even playing - I'm game for photos of her in action. But no, she wants to be in my lap or using my camera if I'm trying to shoot her. So, inevitably, I end up with photos like this:

But I need to keep trying. Because even with about 30 not so good shots, I did get this adorable shot of her. Persistence pays off! And I'm determined to get some shots of her this week. Crossing my fingers that I can again get at least one good shot!

I loved the one in your lap - and the one peeking around the corner.
