It hasn't been the easiest week even though we're not having any more upchucking. Mackenzie is working on getting F.O.U.R. teeth at once it looks like. Definitely the top two, but the two on the sides of those look to be trying to come through as well. She's been waking up a lot at night. I've discovered baby orajel, so I run in, swipe it on her gums, she relaxes while hugging me while I lean over her crib, and after about a minute she collapses (not sits down, she FALLS) back into her crib and proceeds to be asleep in about a minute. Not bad, but we do it a few times per night. Can't wait til these teeth come on in.
She's also been eating poorly. Thought at first her appetite hadn't come back. Now, I guess it's teething? I think the appetite will come back so I'm trying not to stress about it (or force feed!).
And lastly, she was on the receiving side of a biting incident this week at MMO. At first, I was relieved that she wasn't the instigator. Then, I saw the bite. On her face. It was pitiful. But she didn't seem to care, so I guess it didn't hurt. Didn't break the skin. Was more like a hickey! Guess the other little girl latched on & sucked instead of digging in. She's been getting good reports on her grabbing/mouthing (she never has actually bitten) behavior for the past month. So, hopefully this will be the only incident of its type. Brannon told her she'll need to learn to fight back if it happens again.

So glad everyone is better. It's not fun being sick! Glad you didn't catch it. That's the worst when everyone is sick!
Wow, waking up and no appetite? That's rough. My grandmother told me that babies lose their appetite when they teeth, but that doctors disagree. I figure she's been around long enough she knows what she's talking about. It was true for M.P. I'm glad everyone is doing better.
