Mackenzie just LOVES dogs. And slowly but surely, our dog, Skylar, has decided Mackenzie ain't too bad herself! Once Mackenzie could stand on her own (and therefore not use Skylar to pull up on) the friendship has begun to blossom. Mackenzie loves to pet Skylar & has recently started laying on her & giving her hugs. She even says "mmm" sometimes while hugging her - her word when she really likes something (food or otherwise!). Caught her on the couch last night snuggling with Sky. So sweet! Mackenzie also has started to share her toy balls with Skylar. She thinks it's hilarious to hand them to Skylar & when Skylar grabs it out of her hand she laughs! Never mind that I spent 12 months teaching Skylar (surprisingly it was successful) not to touch Mackenzie's toys. Guess Mackenzie is going to reteach Skylar to play with her toys...... Oh well. It is fun to watch them play together.
