Sorry that the blog has been a bit quiet lately, not sure why I haven't been updating it as regularly (might have something to do with a certain child that grows more active by the minute!). Anyways, we have had A TON of rain here, and it just doesn't seem to want to stop. Not that it has bothered Mackenzie - she (like most kids) loves playing in the rain. Her daddy took her onto our covered gazebo on Saturday to watch the rain fall & once he put her down she marched right out of the covering into the rain & didn't seem to mind! That's our crazy girl :) She's probably not going to be a total priss since she doesn't mind getting wet or dirty. She slipped & fell a little since it was wet and slippery (but she slips sometimes when it's dry,too). And she enjoyed carrying her daddy's camping lantern around the deck in the rain. It's actually pretty heavy, but that is her new thing.....to carry fairly heavy things around. She seems to be a rather strong 12 month old.
