Go Braves

On Sunday afternoon, we got a last minute invite to go to a Braves game with one of Brannon's law school buddies and his son, Ben who is about 4 months older than Mackenzie.  It's amazing how we've actually been able to be more spontaneous lately, as we got the call at about 1 o'clock and were at the game by 2 o'clock.  (We were taking a risk since she hadn't napped really all day due to church....only about 30 minutes due to the car ride....but we went anyways!)

And I'm glad we did.  She had an excellent time
at her first Braves game.  I'm pretty sure she had no clue what was going on & even though we had great seats, the baseball is so small it's hard for her to track it to know what to watch!  BUT...she got to taste her first strawberry smoothie & eat her first bites of funnel cake!  And she liked it.....but that should be obvious!  Who doesn't?!?!  She also thoroughly enjoyed people watching!  She did have one moment of near breakdown, but I fixed a bottle and she was happy pretty much for the rest of the game.  She lasted about 7 whole innings.  (We got there late and left at the last inning).  All in all, a great first experience.  OH yeah, and the Braves won :)
