This evening (during bedtime I hope!), Mackenzie & I are headed to Florida for a week & a half. (I should be packing right now.....). We'll first stop at my parents, Granmommy & Grandaddy's house for a long weekend. And then on Sunday or Monday, head with Meemi & Poppee to Amelia Island for a week at the beach! YEAH!!! I can't wait to see how Mackenzie likes the beach :) I will try to post while I'm there, but it will be intermittent at best.....On a sad note, we will be leaving our dog, Scooter, with a family friend of the McKays in Tallahassee. Brannon is HIGHLY allergic to dogs & after two years & fear of Mackenzie developing an allergy, we have found a wonderful home for him. We will still be able to see him & he will be an only dog/child which he will definitely like! We'll still have our 'grumpy ol' lady' (as I call her!), Skylar. She doesn't shed much and has never bothered Brannon. But we will miss Scooter & all of his antics! Mackenzie loved to watch him run to & fro (he's a fast little jack russell). He is a great dog. Goodbye Scoot - we love you!!
