My Baby is 9 Months Old!!

Hey Everyone!

Mackenzie here. Hope ya'll are enjoying the warm weather - I know I am! This past month has flown by and I'm having to sit here and think about all of my accomplishments this month. I had already started crawling before I turned 8 months, so ya'll knew that update. But every day I pick up the speed and now I can really cover some ground on all fours. I only waited a few days of crawling before I figured out how to pull up & now I cruise on our furniture & "walk" with my toy lion that has wheels meant for me to practice my walking skills (poor mommy!)

I am starting to be able to communicate in ways besides crying! I can wave 'bye-bye' now & get really excited about it when I get to do it! I can blow raspberries by sticking out my tongue and often do it 'on command' when my daddy (or others) do it to me. Then, we'll go back and forth taking turns doing it! What fun! It's like a little bubble blowing conversation :) Mommy is working on other signs with me, but none have taken quite yet. She thinks it will pretty soon though!

Sme of my favorites include: bathtime, playing in the baby pool (pictures of this to come soon!), getting in the backpack and going for a walk, playing "up in the air" with daddy lifting me high in the air, playing "big Jumpa" with daddy where he lightly tosses me after I bend to jump, my new table toy, watching/grabbing/playing with dogs, fruits & cereals, PUFFS!, anything electronic (remote, cell phones, cameras, etc....), mommy's keys, playing in the grass, swinging at the park, drinking my bottles, turning pages of books, & FREEDOM!

Some of my not so favorite things include: green vegetables, meats, having a diaper change or clothes changed, being told NO!, falling down, & somebody wiping my nose.

I can't think of any other dislikes right now, so based on a quick glance - there are far more things that make me happy than unhappy, so overall I'm a pretty happy baby. I just like to have some freedom to move & then I'm a pretty happy baby!
