Fun Times in Florida

We made it down to my parents' house on Thursday night pretty easily. Other than having to drive late at night so she'd sleep, it was a great drive. She did sleep the whole time as I'd hoped she would. Occasionally, she'd let out a cry or two but would settle down quickly. I think she'd stir & try to roll over as she does in her crib & couldn't, so she'd cry out. But she wasn't really ready to wake up, so she'd just fall back asleep. She did however, wake up when we got here around midnight & thought it was playtime after a 4 hour nap! She played for about an hour, but she slept until almost nine so it worked out okay.

On Friday, we spent the day with Granmommy who has Fridays off from work, and did a good bit of shopping. Then, we played with Grandaddy when he got home. She is now very into Grandaddy's fish tank - which is fun. She'll just sit in front of it and point at all the fish. She also has showed off her new skill to Granmommy & Grandaddy - standing unassisted for a few seconds! WOW! It's amazing how much she changes between their visits - and we just saw them 3 weeks ago!
