Likes: Barney & Elmo. Must sleep with them, one in each arm, every night now. She calls them 'Mel-mo' and 'Bar-bar'. And starts going 'Uh-uh-uh-uh' in anticipation of Barney everytime the TV comes on. I try to limit it to one 'Bar-Bar' episode per day. Gets a little upset when the TV stays on something other than Barney!
New Words: Says 'Moooo' when asked what a cow says & really enjoys saying it! Sometimes she says that all animals make this sound..... Also knows 'Baaaa' for a sheep. Surprisingly, she hasn't learned 'Woof' for a dog, considering how much she loves dogs!
Likes: Peanut Butter. On just about anything. Also really likes hummus! Maybe she just really likes dips?
Dislikes: Bedtime. After her bath, which I typically give her, she now cries when she goes back upstairs with daddy because she knows what is coming.....bedtime. We've gotten around it by going straight into reading after the bath - no trip downstairs to get daddy. That seems to help. And Bar-bar & Melmo also help!
Likes: To say 'Hi' and 'Bye-bye' to everyone, all the time! Everytime I say bye on the phone, you hear a little 'bye-bye' from wherever she is in the room! She even says it now in anticipation of the bye, like if you're winding down the conversation with 'okay, i'll talk to you later', she'll go ahead and say 'BYE!'. So smart, she knows what is coming :) She also says it to the WHOLE WORLD when we are out & about. At Publix, at the mall, at a restaurant, etc. And the general public seems to enjoy it!
More Words: For a few weeks (maybe more? the weeks fly by!), she has verbally been telling us 'No'. Sweetly enough. She will also say 'No-no', now. If I'm doing something she doesn't like, she'll go 'No-no' and shake her head. Wonder where she got that from?? She also seems to be trying to say 'Mine' alot (I think). She'll point to lots of different things and say, "Uh-My'. Many things she points to and says this, are not actually hers & I'm trying to convey that to her. Not sure she gets it. Like she'll point to a tree outside and say, 'Uh-My'. Well, technically the tree does not belong to her! Oh well. That's a toddler for you, assuming everything in her little world is hers!

Maya used to anticipate the 'goodbye' in a phone conversation and beat me to saying it as well. It's funny because they always seem to be off in their own little world but they're paying attention to EVERYTHING! Maya used to copy some of my mannerisms and ask me, "Why you do like that?" I don't even realize what I'm doing half the time.
