This week has been a full week - yesterday the Halloween parade and today a trip to a pumpkin patch with our MOPs group. I couldn't resist buying a pumpkin outfit for her to wear, complete with a 'Daddy's Little Pumpkin' shirt and pumpkin tights. (On a side note, I originally planned to have her wear a pumpkin monogrammed shirt that I ordered, but it showed up spelled wrong! UGH!!!! Oh well, I think I like my last minute purchase better). The weather was PERFECT!!! Especially considering the rain we've been having, and even yesterday it poured all day long. But this morning the sun came out and it was beautiful. Warm even. Which was nice because she didn't have to wear a jacket to deter from the cuteness of the outfit!!!
As one would expect, Mackenzie LOVED a chance for a new adventure. She explored. Tried to lift pumpkins almost as big as she is. Refused to sit still for many pictures. Discovered she loved the cider they gave us after the hayride back from the field. In fact, I was holding the cider in the cup for her and she had her hand on my hand & if I pulled my hand away, she used her hand to push it back to her mouth! It was cute!!
All in all, a great day! Here's a few pictures of our adventurous little pumpkin:
