Hmmm......

All during the day today, I had been thinking of multiple things to write about tonight about recent things of what Mackenzie is doing lately, and then I sat down to write it and I'm having a hard time remembering..... I'll blame it on the pregnancy making me forget! Anywho....here's a couple things I remembered:

• Exploding make believe: Mackenzie's little imagination is growing every day. She frequently cooks for us all sorts of things, wants us to play "tea" with her now that she has her own little tea set, and when she draws - she is constantly telling me what her drawings are (examples are elephants, bikes, & people she knows!).
• She is showing some interest in learning her numbers & letters. She tries to count, but goes out of order after #3. She can identify a couple letters & really enjoys trying to "write" when she is doodling. She does individual quick squiggles spaced out like they are letters. And she asks what letters/words are in some of her books now. So fun to see her learn & want to learn!
• Her favorite phrase it seems lately is "Is it ______?". For example, she points to something and says "Is it yellow?". Or, points to something and says "Is it on?" (like a light or computer). I guess she's trying to confirm what she thinks is true. It's pretty cute!
