Aunt Nanny Visits

My sister came to visit this weekend and it had been a few months since she'd seen Mackenzie, and what a big difference those months were. Mackenzie wasn't attached to Mommy this time & was thrilled to have her aunt here to play with her! It's neat too, that she's old enough now to remember her even though she only sees her about every other month. Her vocabulary was so much bigger than last time, and she's trying to actually say Natalie - as she previously called her 'Na-Na' and now it's morphed into "Nanny" or even maybe "Nally". Not bad for a one year old!

On Saturday, we took Natalie & Mackenzie down to Centennial Park to their 4th saturday fun day. It was themed "Flights & Kites" but due to the weather/rain (I think) of the past couple days , not everything got set up it seemed. But there was enough to keep Mackenzie entertained. She saw some hoola hoopers competing, got her first animal balloon, played in some bubbles that were blowing, and watched the water fountains dance (we didn't bring a swimsuit and she was in shy mode, so we decided to skip letting her get soaked this time!). Here's a few photos from the day....
