2nd Day with Aunt Nanny

On Sunday, we hung out at the house with Aunt Nanny - who was helping us make some non-dairy ice cream in the homemade ice cream maker (made with coconut milk and other stuff). Then, we enjoyed a lunch on the deck, followed by a trip to the pool while the ice cream churned. Mackenzie is slowly warming up to the pool - though she still much prefers to hang out on the first step of the pool. (How I wish we had baby pool at our neighborhood pool).

We had such a good time with Aunt Nanny. Mackenzie woke up from her nap asking for her (we went to the airport while she slept) and then also the next day when she woke up in the morning. She can't wait until the next visit :)

Ready for the pool!

She likes the non-dairy ice cream!

Just realized Aunt Nanny had some too, and I'm not sure she wanted to share!

Was the non-dairy ice cream good?

She definitely looks jealous in that last picture!

The non-dairy ice cream had a nice taste to it, but it was a bit grainy from the almond pulp, maybe if we did it again, we should strain out the almond pulp before mixing all the other ingredients.

That look says to me, "Aunt Nanny, that is a LOT of I-beam don't eat it all!"

LOL
