Nursery Update

As I said in the previous post, we made a lot of headway on the nursery this weekend. It basically started with changing the room we are going to use for the nursery. We have two bedrooms upstairs in addition to our bedroom. One of these rooms is Brannon's music room - which for those of you that know him - that is HIS room in the house! The other room is a guest bedroom which I was going to use as the nursery. Which meant we were going to have to put the bed that was in the room into storage or something. My mom & mother-in-law wanted me to keep the bed in the room (it's a large room) with the baby stuff too so I could use it to lay down late at night if I wanted, etc. Well, I really didn't want to do that......so Brannon had mentioned that we might want to move the music stuff into that guest room & keep the bed and move all the baby furniture to the smaller room that was formerly HIS room. But I wasn't sure how serious he was..... So, on Sunday we called him up at W&L to see if he was serious (I wasn't about to touch HIS room without permission!). He agreed because then we could still keep that bedroom as a legitimate guest room for visiting family.

Well, that's all we needed - the moving of furniture began(mom & dad moved the stuff.....not me!) . And when Brannon got in late on Sunday night - we put him to work moving his music gear. At this point, he started lamenting his choice - partly b/c he was tired and didn't want to do it then and partly b/c he felt like he was losing HIS room to the baby. Well, it all got moved in just a couple hours and now we are proceeding with finishing up the nursery. I'm going to pick up my glider/recliner today after work and hopefully this weekend we will put the crib together. SO - maybe next week I can have some pictures to post! Also - part of the music gear includes our computer, so until that is hooked back up (hopefully soon), I am not able to include pictures in my posts :( .
