A Place to Rest Her Head :)

Well, we finally purchased a crib this weekend.....yeah! That was something that was beginning to stress me out a little - I didn't want to wait too long so that whatever we picked couldn't be shipped/in stock in time. So, we went to 'Georgia Baby' this weekend and found a crib. After last time, I was a little smarter and took a nob off the furniture we already have in the room (we're keeping the dresser & chest of drawers that are already in the room) and took it with us so we could know for sure if the wood color matched. It was a brilliant idea! We picked a crib, though it was a little more than we would've spent had we gotten the one at Babies R Us. But it is a nice crib & sturdy - and with gas prices like they are, driving around a few more times to different stores looking for a little better deal would've easily made up the difference in cost in our SUV..... So, here it is. This is the one in the showroom. The FJ Cruiser came up short for us (much to Brannon's disappointment) and the crib didn't fit in the back of the SUV. So, we will have to go back and pick it up using a friend's truck. So, for actual pictures of it with our bedding in the room......stay tuned :)
