Well - I've still been a little slow on the posts. This weekend we went to our mountain property with some friends - taking advantage of the outdoors before it gets too hot for me (which isn't too far away - I've been much hotter already!). We mainly just hung out for the afternoon, cooked some food on Brannon's new camping grill, and waded in the water at Talking Rock Creek. All in all, a nice relaxing day - hopefully Mackenzie will like the outdoors because she'll probably be up there quite a bit as she gets older!The other "baby" thing we did this weekend was try to get a crib. We went to Babies R Us after work on Friday, and spent forever debating between cribs & talking to the salesman for his help....and finally decided on a crib - only to find out it wasn't in stock. Well, that wasn't too surprising - but then it was also not in stock at their central hub for shipping stuff. So, then they checked on when it could be in from the manufacturer, but the date wasn't in the computer. UGH! Needless to say, I was disappointed! We are on a wish list and they will call us when they have a date - but I'm not counting on it. So, off to do more shopping somewhere else next weekend I guess!
