Slacker!!!

Wow, it's been almost a whole week since I've posted. And I'm not sure why! Well, I was in a bit of a funk with the whole scratching thing & then hadn't taken many new pictures (I prefer to have photos in my posts!). But, after many good comments, talks, emails, etc. with other mommies, my funk is lifting. The house is cleaner this week. My attitude is happier. And more pictures are being taken!

So......what's been goin' on? Well, Mackenzie is finally turned around in her carseat. She's been over 20 lbs for about a month, but I was slow to get around to moving the carseat! But it's been about a week now that she's been forward facing - and she's pretty happy about that!

I also finally finished her playroom (well except for wall hangings.....). It's only been under construction since right before she turned one! I had great hopes to get it done by her first birthday (didn't happen). Then, by Christmas (didn't happen). But we finally made it be Valentine's day! Better late than never :P I'll post some pics soon (would like to wait for wall hangings, but that might mean you're waiting for another year......)

AND - we are working on saying "CHEESE" for the camera. It helps a little to actually get her interested in me taking her pictures. Every little bit helps! This second picture she was smiling after trying to say cheese, too bad she was only an inch or two from my face......working on one thing at a time :)

Aunt Natalie is coming for a short visit this weekend :) So, Mackenzie will have an extra person dedicated toher entertainment. She will like that! Then, next week is the BIG Disney trip! I'm soooo looking forward to it! I hope she enjoys it half as much as I'm expecting her to & it will be a great trip! (Also hoping she manages to take naps while we're there or we could have a little terror on our hands!!).
