Funny Kid

As I've mentioned before, Mackenzie really keeps us smiling ALOT.  She has such a cute little personality, with definite likes, dislikes, interests, etc....and she lets you know how she feels about things.  I wish I could record all the funny things she does, but time just flies by & when you sit down at the computer, you don't always remember them all!  C'est la vie, I guess.

Anyways, today, I caught her in the act of a little funny act & took a picture, which helps me remember to blog about it later!  I have been trying to give her blueberries & cherries for snack since her one fruit she eats is grapes,
I thought these two other options were similar in texture/ taste.  Well, we've had limited success, but that's a whole other story.  Today, I was trying to cook dinner, so I cut up her blueberries & cherries, put them on her tray all mixed together, and went about cooking for a few minutes while she (hopefully) ate some fruit ......fast forward a few minutes & I look back at her tray to discover, she had not eaten much (any?) but had almost moved all the cherries into one group & the blueberries into another!  Not sure why, but she was entertained for quite a few minutes organizing her food!  Funny kid!

She's also getting her first two molars!  She has unfort- unately been biting some again (it had been much better).  But she's biting me and then some of her friends at playgroups again.  I thought it might be because she was teething but didn't see her next bottom teeth coming in (the ones that usually come next).  Then, Brannon saw the molar breaking through when she was laughing one night.  So, I think all of her biting   is really related to teething.  She "loves" on her friends (& me) with open mouth kisses & then while she's there I think she thinks, it would feel good to bite down!  UGH!  Here we go again......  It is better this go around, since she's a bit older and sort of knows not to do that.  But still!

In other news, she had her 15 month appoint- ment this past Monday.  They don't do a full checkup at our pediatrician for 15 mo., it's only a nurse visit for vaccines.  But I did ask if we could get a weight check for my own knowledge (not worried these days, just always curious!), so the nurse said sure.  She weighed in at 19 lbs, 14 oz.  That's still between 10-15%, so she seems to be sticking with that percentile lately.  Then she got four shots, poor baby!  She handled it pretty well & we spent the rest of the morning playing at a friend's house to make up for it :)
